sounds like someone was inspired by a good show or something....I missed it :( lookin for campsites in Bala now.
the show was killer, aaron. all who didn't see it shall be remiss. he played a new song last night- along with some that i was surprised/happy to hear (advertising on police cars, suburbia and everything is automatic). the show in bala will rock because the venue is rad and he plays there every year. good luck getting a site.
How was the movie?
And, your questions are ready when you are.
holy shit- i was so distracted by the sheer awesomeness that is matthew good that i forgot about how fucking hilarious the movie was.
vince vaughn is a comedic god and he deserves bows of reverence wherever he goes. some of the things that come out of his mouth...goodness me!
also, will ferell makes an appearance which was very well received in the theatre. i love his shouting voice, its so full of desperation.
:| <-- that's my jealous face for hearing Advertising... live
he opened with it!!!
obviously much screaming/crying ensued on the part of the crowd.
oh yeah, and he also played blue skies over badlands.
that's right.
live.
toward the end where there's a break in the singing, he talked about amnesty int'l and how human rights are something that people don't think about too much, until they have them taken away of course.
owned.
gah! The Kee sold out between last night and today too, so I'm screwed. Guess I'll just have to go twice on the fall tour or something.
at this point I realize I'm being a post whore, but thought I'd add that I just got offered a cottage/space to camp IN Bala for free for the weekend...MIGHT take up the offer and try to get tickets at the door.
But since I'm whoring, I'll take this opportunity to point out the latest ridiculousness from our neighbours to the south. From CBC.
...and justice for all.
all whities anyway
