Anthony in Wonderland
Another month gone, and here I am none the wiser, none the brighter, mostly unchanged. But changes are going on around me, no doubt about it. The leaves are deepening their colour and the days are lengthening their hours of light. Also, in a more immediate context, today marks the unfurling of the new and improved Blog of Wonder- brought to you by the ever trangling Anthony Pereira. If the name sounds strangely familiar to you, it could be because of this, or this, or the comments in this. Or it could be because you're currently pledging Kappa Phi Omega, in which case you should be directed here. In any case, in an age of fly-by-night bloggers who leave their blogs in reckless abandon as soon as the blogging novelty wears off, Anthony has managed to maintain his blog (albeit intermittedly)for over a year now. I believe props are in order.
Props.
[Tony, hopefully this post will entice you to post more than twice a month, hint hint]
you only wish you could pull this hat off

props.
i dunno, but that whole hat and sunglasses get-up reminds me of pet shop boys, circa 1987. or am i speaking the obvious (much like deanna troi of the next generation)?
i saw the pledging site - makes me want to go back to school .. well, maybe.
you don't have to be in school to be a member of kappa phi omega, you just have to eat rolled up pieces of lined paper.
I've got a whole bag of props here with your name on it.
i like it
i love idea of props and all, but how do you determine what props to use for a porn shoot? seems like they would just play second fiddle to the props already required for the "film".
Hi! I'm new to this blog, but as a long time fan of Anthony I will give him props!! Good job big brother!!
anthony: bravo, you frat master, you.
nam: i believe the only props required for a good porn film is the quality bass-heavy soundtrack.
dianna: thanks for stopping by.
I've seen the delightful Anthony post on Loz's blog, and I have to say, PET SHOP BOYS??? Really, Nam. I was thinking a young version of the Beastie Boys, myself.
I started to get back into the theatre realm, myself. But I became addicted to blogging... don't let that happen to you, AP.
BTW: it's sorta funny when i looked up kappa phi omega .. have a laugh.
UBERMILF: come to think of it, he does look like a beastie boy .. my vision of the pass is unclear most of the time.
AP ought to think about forming a tribute band. sounds like it would bring together his interest in drama, psychology, wal*mart and rogers video experience. i guarantee doing so, or even seriously entertaining doing so over coffee with a couple of friends (but not at 5am), will give you a surplus of 1/72 of your life.
i haven't the foggiest the significant of 'kappa' but here's my impression (unfounded research) of the other two greek letters.
PHI - this is often used in "fee, fi, fo, fum, (phee, phi, pho, phum) .. i smell the blood of an englishman" -- must be all the marmite or ale in their bloodstream.
OMEGA - as the last letter in the greek alphabet, it is often paired with the first for religious poetry [alpha-omega: the beginning-the end]. also, a negatively charged elementary particle that has a mass 3270 times the mass of an electron.
you're in a band?
what do you play?
