so it's been a while.
i was working like a dog this week to pay for the new bed/boxspring/mattress that i bought from ikea a few days ago. it's beautiful. and oh so comfy.
i have a busy weekend planned as i'm going to algonquin park again for the weekend. it'll be my last camp of the year probably so i want it to be good. pictures will be provided, to enhance jealousy of course. tomorrow mark and i are on the hunt to buy groceries, beer and flannel pants to keep warm as it drops down to zero in the evenings up there. beer and flannel. could anything be more canadian?
also, i'm going to see proof tomorrow night with mark, erin and amy. erin works at hmv and thus provides me frequently with free movie passes. bless her little sold-her-soul-to-the-devil-to-win-every-boardgame-that-we-ever-play heart.
oh yeah. watched sin city last night.

I don't think I watched half that movie... It was spent tucked in TFG's armpit asking when all the violence would stop. Read a great article that dissected how each woman was a different facet of the male fantasy, the virgin, the whore, the kick ass dominatrix..
maybe its the male side of things, but I quite enjoyed Sin City, and not JUST cause of Jessica Alba.
where in Algonquin ya goin? There are 5 raccoons at Rock Lake that have had far too many pitas in the past month, avoid them.
the only thing better than flannel and beer will be flannel and Fireball whiskey and flannel.

the bed looks great, but what's with Ikea and mattress pads? did you get the mattress pad?
actually, i bought only the bedframe from ikea. i bought the mattress and boxspring from a furniture warehouse. i have a feather bed + mattress pad that goes on top of the mattress.
from now on my bed is to be referred to as 'the cloud'
